In creating this series, I wanted to explore the multitude of color ranges in blue, both warm and cool, and the attendant emotions evoked by the hue. These works, all oil and cold wax on panel, hold several layers and are then scraped back, revealing the history of the painting's development. Click on an image and use the arrow to move to the next image.
