This series, done in neutrals, came about as a rebound reaction to the Transitions series where extravagent color was rife. My goal with this series was to create layered, complex works without the benefit of vivid color slashing through and carrying the eye across the painting’s surface. As a colorist painter, this continues to be a challenging journey and one that is exciting to find my way through. Click on an image for a larger view and use the arrow to move through the paintings.
