Painting abstract art allows me the freedom to throw out all the rules. By combining minimal and reductive imagery, as well as geometric shapes, detailed designs and portraiture, each line, color and shape reflects my intention to communicate. A creative process in which nothing, no mark or color choice, is “wrong," provides an ultimate freedom in exploration and expression. Abstraction allows me to tap into my feelings, intuition and inventiveness, and work in an unselfconscious and spontaneous way.
